Small Animal Bowen

Small Animal Bowen

Cats and dogs also benefit from being treated with bowen. From the Moggy with stiffness from arthritis to the show dog with incorrect posture and stiff movement, bowen is ideal to re-set and re-balance their bodies to relieve pain, release tight muscles, and increase their quality of life.

Working athletes such as heading dogs, huntaways, dogs used for agility, gun dogs etc all will benefit from bowen therapy to increase their fitness, help with rehabilitation after injury or disease and improve their performance.

Small Animal Bowen Course

This is a post graduate course designed to be affordable, for those who have already completed their Human Bowen training and wish to help their four-legged small animal friends with this amazing modality.

This course is being developed and is subject to change.

The course will be eight months long and will incorporate practical courses, assignments, and case studies. There will lectures delivered by guest speakers, all experts in their fields, such as a holistic veterinarian, animal behaviourist and show competitor.

At the conclusion of the course there will be a practical, oral and written exam.  Upon passing the exams the graduate will be issued with a certificate of completion.

People who are not qualified in Human Bowen may start a Small Animal Course after completing Fascial Kinetics level 1 or the equivalent in Bowtech or other Bowen Training Programmes, but will not be able to complete the Small Animal Course until having qualified in their Human Bowen.

As an Instructor for the European School of Equine Bowen, I feel it is necessary to maintain high standards with regard to training in any form of Animal Bowen Therapy. This is to safeguard the public with regard to providing therapy services for animals and to satisfy the Veterinary Community that we are training professional practitioners, who have knowledge of physiology
and anatomy as well as ethics.
Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians are encouraged to attend.

Veterinarians please contact me for entry conditions specific to you.
